Robin was born in Colorado but lived in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Mexico, and Honduras before returning to her home state.

She has been working in glass since the late 1990s when she started in stained glass. She quickly moved to fused glass and has been studying and experimenting with fusing techniques for more than two decades. She currently specializes in jewelry and small decorative pieces, as well as ornaments and sun catchers.

Many of Robin’s pieces involve three to four layers of glass and 2-3 firings to complete. Some of her pieces start as a larger fused piece and are cut up and reassembled to create pieces with a mosaic feel to them.

Robin finds inspiration in calmer, softer palettes that channel the serenity she finds when surrounded by the natural beauty of both the beaches where she spent her childhood and the mountains she now calls home.
